FLASH: FG Raises Salaries for All Employees

The N25,000 wage increase for six months will be available to all cadres of Federal Civil ServiceFederal Civil Service employees, President Bola Tinubu stated in his address on Independence Day

In his speech, Tinubu had mentioned the raise for low-level federal employees as a measure to mitigate the effects of the elimination of subsidies

But it was decided that all employees should receive the raise at a gathering of the Federal Government and labor unions on Sunday evening in Aso Rock..

This was said at the conclusion of the conversation by the meeting’s moderator, Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to the President

To avoid a general strike, the Federal Government had called labor unions to the meeting
