The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) detained Mohbad, Zinoleesky, and four other individuals in February 2022 as a result of their possession of illegal drugs such MDMA and cannabis at their Lekki, Lagos, house

In several viral footage posted on social media, NDLEA agents are seen bursting into the musicians’ home in Lagos State’s Lekki neighborhood early on Thursday morning. Witnesses claim that the authorities mistreated the Marlian singers during the arrest and carried it out without any search warrants. The NDLEA officials were seen shoving the musician into waiting trucks while striking them with clubs and firing into the air

The raid was confirmed by NDLEA, who stated that “our men raided an area in Idado estate where Naira Marley’s boys stay.” From their flat and automobile, significant amounts of marijuana and cocaine were found, he told TheCable Lifestyle. Later, Mohbad, Zinoleesky, and three other individuals were released by the NDLEA
