Ayra Starr becomes the first female Nigerian musician to appear on the Billboard 200 chart

The gifted vocalist Ayra Starr has reached a noteworthy turning point in the history of music. She is currently the first female musician from Nigeria to be featured on the prestigious Billboard 200 Album chart in the United States.

Her second studio album, “The Year I Turned 21,” which debuted at a stellar number 195 on the chart on Monday, helped her achieve this amazing milestone.

Nevertheless, Burna Boy’s “Love, Damini,” which peaked at No. 14, continues to be the highest-charting Nigerian album in the US. Additionally, “Love, Damini” is the first album from Nigeria to debut at the top of the UK album chart.
