Afrobeat musician, Davido grieving Access bank CEO Herbert Wigwe’s demise


Famous Nigerian musician Davido sent his condolences and final respects to the late Herbert Wigwe, the cherished CEO of Access Bank.

On Saturday, February 10, reports state that Herbert, his wife, and their son perished in a helicopter crash in California close to the Nevada border.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the Eurocopter EC130 helicopter went down in Nipton, California, at around ten o’clock at night.

Approximately sixty miles south of Las Vegas, in the eastern portion of San Bernardino County, sits the unincorporated town of Nipton.

Many people are saddened by Wigwe’s sudden passing, but Davido is particularly affected since he admires Wigwe’s extraordinary leadership and dedication to excellence.

The ‘Unavailable’ crooner took to social media to express his sadness over the loss of Herbert Wigwe as he penned his condolences prayers.

Via his timeline, he wrote, “I pray for strength and comfort for the Wigwe family”.
