A Nigerian guy was purportedly refused a study visa to Canada when officials discovered that N100m was his POF

Citing a man’s depressing experience, a Nigerian computer professional who resides outside advises against using large sums of money as evidence of affluence.

According to @muvey10, a man in one of her groups revealed that he had N100 million in financing proof but was still denied a Canadian study visa.

In a TikTok video, the technician criticized the man for providing N100 million as evidence of funds in order to obtain a study visa, calling visa applications “storytelling.”

Visa authorities, in her opinion, are the ones who decide whether to accept or reject an application based on the available information.

She said that the applicant has to give a compelling explanation of their story.

“You have N100 million in your account. The question is, how is that money in your account?” she quizzed while admonishing people on the dangers of an excess prof of funds.

According to the country’s official website, applicants for a Canada study visa must have at least 20,635 CAD (N13.9 million) as evidence of money starting January 1, 2024.
